Solar Vehicle Electronics & Telemetry

Infotainment, telemetry, and race driving.

2021 - 2023 / University of Minnesota

I developed infotainment software and telemetry hardware for the Solar Vehicle Project, working across circuit design, software development, and system integration.

I also drove in the 2022 American Solar Challenge and created promotional films for the team. Freya won the Multi-Occupant Vehicle class that year, Minnesota's first American Solar Challenge road-race victory.

HARDWARE

Telemetry electronics

My work included G1 telemetry hardware, circuit design, and integration with existing vehicle systems.

SOFTWARE

The in-vehicle interface

I developed the F1 infotainment application alongside the telemetry work. The tablet interface connects the software to how information is used inside the vehicle.

RACING & MEDIA

Working with the vehicle

I drove in the 2022 American Solar Challenge and created promotional films for the team. Those roles connected the engineering work to vehicle operation and documenting the build.
